Why is the map identical every game?

I play Catan a lot IRL and wanted to try this online. I played a couple games and the UI and all is fun. But I'm playing this game as a trial run before buying anything. What grinds my gears is that EVERY match has had the EXACT same layout as the one before. This is going on about 6 games now and I always think "this one will have an even slightly different map than the 5 ones before" .... No.
I hope that if you sink $5 USD to purchase the full game you have an actual variation in player experience, but I think this is peak ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laziness and an insult to the game in which this app weakly desires to emulate. FIX YOUR GAME OR JUST CHARGE ME 10 BUCKS TO PLAY IT!!!!!!

You played "Freematch", which is ever with the same map.
If you want other maps, you can:
-Play single player (against AI) and choose option variable map.
You can play single game every 12 hours.
-Buy game. Than you can play single player or multiplayer (against people) as often you want, also with different maps.

Perhaps it´s better to look before crying. Look to the screenshots. Thousands of screenshots with thousands of different maps.
