How can I get codes for free in this game?

Where I can find codes for this game? I have not found anything useful online.

Can you please explain what "codes" do you mean? What do you want for "free"?
Perhaps I missunderstand, but do you think with a "code" you get perhaps a free brick if you need one? This ability don´t exist, and at the day such things would be possible, I would delete my account.

On the shop, there is a code box. I asume they could give gold or other ingame content.

Don't hit your head with bricks. Is not good for you.

It´s for gold coins to buy: expansions, avatar skins, other game board etc. You can call it "ingame money". But not "in-ingame". :)
I ´m knowing this game (board and PC) since a long time, but what they do with it ("Catan Universe") is horrible. For example "free to play", but "gold coins". It´s not impossible theese guys will make "pay to win" content.
But no bricks for my head. In the worst case, I have still the older PC-games...
