Losing Karma

I am down to 3 stars because I have to go to the mobile game, after a PC game is over, and log out so that I can play another game. I lose Karma points because of this ridiculous bug that the devs are not fixing. It's nuts!

I am also losing Karma but I play on a laptop with the steam browser and I never exit a game wtf is going on?

I never quit a game and I'm down to one star.
This discussion board would be more useful if we just mentioned the few things on this app that work.

Just to be clear, I am not quitting in the midst of a game. The game is over but stuck so the only way to get to a new game is quitting on the mobile app so that I can sign back into catan on PC and get to a new game.

This is happening to many (most) of us. I believe that when the screen freezes and you have to quit the app, it is registered as you quitting a game, hence the loss of karma stars.
I'v e also noticed they don't seem to accrue anymore when you complete games. I'm stuck at one star, never having quite a game The whole karma system will likely have to be reset if they ever get this app working again....just like the ELO system.

Idk if i'm in fact losing Karma(probably yes) but every single game crashes at the end(winning or losing), so i have to force quit closing the window...this is ridiculous

Can confirm this is whats happening. Won 3 games in a row and lost a star and 2 elo. I've been stuck at 1 star for a bit now, sometimes I can crank back up to 3 stars but once I log out straight back to 1. Luckily, since it's happening to everyone, queue time is as if it's 5 stars so its not so bad. The only thing that sucks is getting stuck with genuine 1 star players since they afk/rage quit 90% more often and it makes the game take longer while you wait for the AFK bot to take over.

I play so many players who have one karma star and just quit when things don't go their way.

Yeah, the worst is when you get 2 one star players, as soon as one quits the other goes. I don't want to "win" because all the players left. I'd rather have a game where I get my butt handed to me haha. I keep hoping the game will be fixed but at this point I accept it as an "it is what it is" situation. Browser works a bit better than steam at least so I've started going there instead. At least I don't have to app hop to reset my continuous rejoin loop ^_^;
