i was under the impression that the basegame is free to play,
and gold is used to unlock expansions.
Nevertheless, having bought gold and it's not there to be used is annoying.
Contact support for it and if needed, gather all the proof / payment receipt e-mail
so it can be added to your support ticket when they ask for it
Ok, i forgot about the "one map only nonsense"
Well, could be just a matter of waiting a little longer ?
It wouldn't be the first game where people have to wait for an in-app purchase to finally come through

I bought 500 Gold yesterday and the 500 Gold are not on my account.
I disconnected and then reconnected... Nothing happened.
So I sent a message to : support@catanuniverse.com
And they respond me this :
"A member of our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
In order for us to help you as quickly as possible, please provide us with the following information - in case you haven't already done so.
a) If you have questions about your account, please send us your Catan Universe username.
b) If it is a technical question, please let us know what kind of device and operating system you are using. If you are playing on PC / Mac, please let us know if you are playing via browser or via Steam.
c) For questions about in-app purchases, in addition to your username, please send us the payment receipt you received from the respective store providers (Apple, Google, STEAM/Valve, Paymentwall).
Just reply to this email if you want to submit the above information.
Thank you for your assistance!"
I am still waiting for their response and I would like to know if someone that had the same problem had the answer...

Hi, same happened to me. I had no answer for maybe a week. So I just replied to this email with " I STILL HAVE NO FEEDBACK?!? " and the next day received an email from the support asking for proof that I've paied for the gold but didnt receive it (i just sent them screenshots of my steam wallet transaction for 500 gold and the 0 gold in-game). And told them that i don't really want my money back but to get the expansion "The Game". The next day they replied that 500 gold is booked into my account and it really was.
So, just spam their email until somebody responds.
Meanwhile, I've sent several emails to Catan Universe support, and all I get are the same canned email responses in German (word-for-word, regardless of what I write and that the same email response has been sent to me multiple times previously).
Great times! Thanks, Catan Universe! I didn't think it would actually be this bad, despite all of the negative publicity surrounding the product. I guess I get to chalk this up as a $15 lesson.
