I'm in a strange loop! HELP!

I lost a game tonight and quit out after. Now, every time I load the game up it tries to rejoin the previous online game. I get a view of the board but no option to quit out or anything. Only way I can quit is by task manager.

I've rebooted, tried to quit the rejoin and everything else available, but still load up to this!

It loads up to the celebration screen if that helps.

Seriously, I can't play the game anymore. It loads up to my previous online game where the winner gets announced. Then gives me a static screen of the board where no options are available. I've checked local file integrity and all is ok. Any suggestions?

Finally got it to stop. Reinstalled the game first, but it still popped up saying "find game" which resulted in me having to click stop each time. It kept popping up every few seconds and finally reported one of the players had left.
Think the loop is over now. Hasn't popped up for a while.

I spoke too soon. It's back every time I load the game. It pops up so quickly that it's really tricky to stop it "finding game". What is going on!!!

I can´t help you. A few minutes ago I was kicked off from a single game. If i try now to play they say "servers are full". Damned! They say because a new "update". "downdate"!

I managed to click out before the pop up disappeared, and started a new game before it had chance to reload the old one.
Support advised me to clear my cache and a few other things, but haven't had to try it though.

i have the same issue i will try and do what you did... i dont know what cache your talking about

most crashing or display error issues can be resolved by an app cache clearance - depending on which device you use, it works like this:

Browser:
Chrome: https://www.technipages.com/google-chrome-clear-cache
Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

Steam:
1. close Catan Universe
2. press the Windows key on your keyboard
3. type %appdata% and press the Enter key
4. the Windows Explorer opens
5. click on Appdata in the address bar
6. open the folder LocalLow
7. delete the folder United Soft Media Verlag GmbH

If you´re still facing the same issues after the workarouns, please let us know which device you are using specifically (model name and software version).

I completed all of the above, and still when I open Catan it rejoins me to my last game. Going on day 2 of this.

i dont get it, i am playing on mac through steam and not chrome... It does not work. I can start a game but when i put my first house out it just does not work. The time goes until i get kicked out since i crossed the time limit. I cant see my house... Really really annoying this

I got the same answer, but I had another problem, not the same like you.
All of you got a standard answer. No one read your letter.
I´d write again to support, write that their answer don´t help me. A few time later my (not serious) problem was solved.
You should write again to support, an answer to their answer. Write you want a real solution. Perhaps...(Keep polite! You are , I know, but evil words can´t help you.)

Had this same issue tonight. tried all the above suggestions with no luck. then i managed to quit the game in the couple seconds between it loading and announcing the winner. took me back to the main menu and now in a game! we'll see if it does it again next time though.
