Oh good it's not just me. Disappointing though, I only just found this game and only played a few times when it just stopped working. Is this typical? Is there any support to reach out to?

If you get a messages saying "cannot reach server" in the main menu, please click on your avatar, choose te option log out, then log back in again. This will create a new connection to our servers.

I'm afraid that is not an option. I have read what you mentioned posted elsewhere, but when cannot connect to server, it does not allow me to log out. The option is greyed out.

I can' log in today either, after buying the base game last night. I tried logging out and logging in, then exiting Steam and Catan completely and signing back in, but am getting an "KNF:you_are_offline" error. I'm definitely NOT offline. What gives and why does this seem to be such a prevalent issue?

Try reinstalling game. That fixed the bug for me.

Das ist nun wirklich das Schlimmste, was ich je erlebt habe. Der absolute Frust. Nach Bezahlung von 10 CHF für Gold und dem entsprechenden aktivieren von "Inka..." und "Duell ...", erhalte ich die Meldung, dass der Server nicht verfügbar ist. Nach dreimaligem deinstallieren und neuem Versuch immer dasselbe.
So kann man ein tolles Spielprinzip gewaltsam in die Tonne treten! Was soll das?
Ich will dieses Spiel zocken oder mein Geld zurück!!!

There was something about deleting the config folder one time, in users/appdata/localLow/United Soft Media. I believe the folder regenerates when you start the game.

Yep. It still works, I had the same problem and only this fixed it

why after buying these expansions and trying to get support I get ignored? I can't play, I've lost nearly all my karma for getting timed out when I didn't even know I wasn't playing until i started watching the game going without me, I paid for boosters now i cant utilise it, when will I be able to play? I can't get my money back either, this was supposed to be something strategy based to enhance the brain but now its just left a black hole of disbelief and frustration. Will anyone tell me when you fix the bugs and hacks and cheats and please change the way the dice rolls when i'm matched against a higher ranked elo player, they dice rolls the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ numbers way to often and im left on a 6,8, 9, 5, 10, and I get no cards, they get heaps so they can win because they have an elo of 1180 and higher it happens everytime Im playing, that is not fair for a paying customer either.
