Playing Alchemist Card in Cities&Knights

After playing the Alchemist card in Cities and knights, I can select the dice results I want as described by the alchemist card, however, it is impossible to do the required event die roll. Where can I activate my die roll because it is no longer available at the normal way.

I think you can only affect the numbered dice, not the event die.

I am not able to hit the check mark to progress the Alchemist card forward. If i get it I have to load on my phone quickly to play to come back to my pc afterwards
