Offline over and over again!

Months ago when I was playing through my internet browser the game kept showing that I was offline. I decided to download Catan through Steam and that fixed the issue. HOWEVER Since the latest update I haven't been able to play an actual online game. Everytime I open the app it bounces between me being online and offline. If I manage to start a game I will eventually time out from being "offline" even though I am clearly connected to the internet. I have tried logging out and logging back in which did nothing. I even tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it...once again it still constantly shows that I am offline. I paid money for this game and you would think that the programmers would try to rectify such a basic problem and yet here I am, not able to play the game and not receiving any help from them either! Very disgusted with their lack of effort.

You should not need a stable connection to play this game. Nothing needs "immediate input" from the player. Reconnections should never be an issue. The whole network logic is flawed. Kicktimer logic as well.

Afternoon. I've been having the same problems since last night. Now, I can't even play the game due to being unable to reach your server. I bought the game earlier this year and last week bought some catan gold (which I can't even view now, states I don't have any) last week. This is becoming very annoying and disheartening. If I go to the shop I can't get back out, I have to terminate the program through Task Manager. Someone enlighten me as to what is happening?

I'm getting slightly annoyed by this, no response whatever? If there's an issue with the game I would like to know as I've spent money in order to play the game as have many others.

This game must have the worst connection engine I have ever seen. The game is simple, without any heavy graphics and stuff, but the connection is always an issue. Just got kicked out two games because of “connection problems”. This is absurd.

People have been complaining about this for months now. Just unacceptable...

Bad connection with the server, whereas there is clearly connection with the internet; very slow games because AI takes forever to finish turn; looking but not finding competitors; the list is endless. Please do something about it Catan Team.
