How to use scrolls? Any Ideas?

I think you go into options and click on "Enable Free Play". Then when you go into the base game, it costs a scroll to play.
Unless you have already bought the base game.

Just click on one "locked" option in in an expansion. You will see a dialogue window asking you if you want to unlock the expansion using gold or scrolls. Select scrolls and you will have access to the entire expansion for a limited time. Select gold and you will have access for an unlimited time.

I found out the hard way that if you use a scroll to "buy" a game, you only own the game for 24 hours.

You can buy game forever but you need to purchase the game. 500 coins is for base game and 500 more for one expansion. In the top left corner you can press on bag of coins and the rest you can figure out on your own.
For 8 euros I bought base game and Citiy and knights expansion + they gave me 5 scrolls. Scrolls are working for limited time (24 hours I think).
