It is our goal to bring every official Catan expansion to Catan Universe. But Next up will be more of Catan Duel (Rivals).

What exactly do I get when I buy the base version?

You can play the base game and the map will be randomized. You can play in a "premium matchmaker queue" with other people who bought the base game. Basically nothing.

You can also play versus AI, so Single Player mode, and create custom matches with friends and/or AI. Also different scenarios which don't include Seafarer or CaK.

Good thing : its called Seefahrer, and my friend OWNS all of this games addons + the base game, so dont come with an addon that never was one. maybe its an "expension" for seefahrer, yet not a sole addon. Those things exist, adding more posibility's to the game (like more city's to be build or more streets for one collor), yet thats unnessesary in a game on PC where you would have INFINITE stuff anyway. Some of those minor expansions add new cards too, yet as i said: unnessesary.

Explorers and pirates is a completely different expansion...

I would absolutely love explorers and pirates. It's our family's favorite version. So much fun.

Seefahrer exist many years longer than "Explorer and pirates", and E&P IS a sole addon.
In Seafarer you have to build a number of ships to reach a building place, in E&P you MOVE a single ship with a settler on board to the settling place.
Traders and barbarians is an addon to the base game, with different scenarios. (Different scenarios are although at E&P).
But you all shouldn´t dream from new content, you should wish the OLD content would work!
