Hi ----,
Thanks for confirming that. So that website is not an official authorised reseller of Steam keys or games. Instead, you have bought this from the so-called "Grey Market" sites, i.e. they are not an authorised reseller of keys and instead are a marketplace for keys found elsewhere.
While some of these keys may be legitimate keys sold by people who have spares, these sites are mostly known for being hosts of fraudsters and other criminals who have made fraudulent purchases or hacked game sellers or their companies to steal the keys to resell them.
In this case, we have deactivated a number of suspected fraudulently acquired keys for the game recently, and it seems the key you bought was not legitimately purchased and has been obtained by illegal methods.
We do not advise users to purchase from these websites for this reason, and instead it is best to use authorised resellers like Steam, GoG, Epic, Humble etc. And if your key is deactivated you need to go back to where you purchased this from to get a legitimate key, as we can only help with purchases made directly from our site, and if you purchase from elsewhere you need to ask wherever you bought this from for help.
Kind Regards,
---- ----
