Cylon Elite

On the list of Cylons some fleets show a blue icon next to them. Hovering over it reads "Cylon Elite". Is that the their equivalent of a commander present? If so do they give fleetwide/flagshipwide bonuses as well? Is there a way to tell which ship they are on (in tactical)? Do they serve other purposes?

Cylon Elite means - basically - the same thing that Colonial Elite means...the crew(s) are well trained and the ships in the fleet are at their maximum. The Commander has risen to his highest level. As far as which ship is Elite, I've never noticed Intel or any other source identifying any particular ship. Usually, I'm assuming it means the Command ship, if you can figure out which one that is. The only way I have found to identify it is to IFF all the ships in the fleet and assume it is the one with the most Fleet Points; usually a Basestar, Revenant or an Arachne - depending on composition. However, if a Hydra is present, it could be one of those. They are intended to coordinate the fleet's offensive/defensive tactics and could be the Command ship.

You can tell which ships are the elite/command on the tactical level, when in battle, once ID’d through dradis, elite and command ships will have a similar blue icon.

Though this has never been confirmed, I would assumed this bonus grants a higher overclock and subsystem power for the ship.

Also, everything I have observed about Cylon Elite veterancy is that it gives the Cylon ships boons like they get on some jumps in Anabasis.
