Enabling in game Photo Mode saved images as load screens.
In the release notes (Whatsnew.pdf file):

"Photo Mode! Capture epic still shots from your battle replays. Included are a suite of
composition tools, such as colour controls and depth of field. On PC, you can also use your
captured images as loading screens."

My question is how does one 'use your captured Images as loading screens'?

Don't know about loading screens, but I did use a screenshot from the game as my background steam shows for the game itself. Got rather bored looking at the back of someone standing on a bridge.

Can you describe what you did?

Sure. If you're in your steam library and looking at the page display for the Battlestar you can right click on the image for the game and load any picture you want. I chose a screenshot from a recent battle from the sub-directory where the game places screenshots.

You can change the image of any game in steam by doing this. Most of the time I don't bother because steam rotates (albeit randomly and not very often) what background it loads, usually it looks to me based off recent screenshots taken using steams screen shot capture.

Ok ... sounds like you are talking about the steam game library image. What I beleive they were talking about is the screen you look at when BSG.exe is changing between menus, CIC, and Space Battles.

Well, don't know if they pop in here now and again still, hopefully they do and will respond.

If you take a screenshot using the photo mode during replays you can set it as a potential loading screen image.

Step one: Take a screenshot during a game replay using the photo mode. Make sure you use the "take screenshot" button in there, not just F12'ing it.

Step two: Go to the main menu and go to the media page.

Step three: Go to the screenshots tab at the top. Any screenshots you've taken through the photo mode will be in there, and they will have a check box next to them which allows you to set them as loading screens.

Sir Wag to the rescue! Thanks. I'll have to give that a go myself.
