What version to buy? PC or Xbox?
Now that the game is on Xbox I was about to buy it, but I am a bit puzzled. This is the first time I saw an Xbox game cheaper than the PC version. So this got me thinking. Is the Xbox version lacking in some way from the PC version?

I know I could hook up the PC to my TV and play that way, but I want to support more games like this on the Xbox so waited to buy it there. I just want to make sure, that both versions are the same and I am not lacking anything on the Xbox version.

Also besides better graphics, what does the PC version offer that is better than the Xbox version. Just want to make sure.

I imagine playing this game on a controller would be much more time consuming in terms of planning out turns since you don't get the luxury of a M+KB UI

Speaking for the PS4 version, I find the controls to work really well. In fact in many ways I find it easier to manover ships in PS4 than PC (I have both versions to compare). However the strategic command room/map is a bit harder on console.

Not sure about the Xbox, but you can't do multiplayer on PS4.

dont buy either, the game developers ♥♥♥♥ you at every turn, firstly the ships do not move like they were in space instead the sail through the air and collide with each other, the ai is lazily developed getting stupid buildup progression and spawning right on top of targets you're suppossed to be protecting, meaning an auto fail after turn 1. cylon fleets spawn in, you cannot reinforce your fleets, those reinforcements get cut to peices every time and when your fleets atre wiped out the cylon fleets are massive and dio not scale down to what you have left. played for days and still did not build a single battlestar because my fleets kept getting wiped out by larger and larger fleets, not a question of whether they can handle themselves against a single fleet but when you have a fleet of 1 adamant, 3 bezerkers and 3 manticors and 4 4000 point fleets spawn on top of it, it becomes a war of attrition that you simply cannot win. i would get my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money back had i not spent days trying to get this game to work. my vote would be not to waste your money or your time.

The reason we launched at a lower price on console is that we didn't have multiplayer ready for day 1.

We're hoping to roll out an update with that in for January.

If you have a decent PC, you'll probably get better graphics on a PC. Running this game on a 32", 40" and 65" 4K is amazing.

While I don’t usually do a “git gud”, with this much salt, it certainly applies.

If you can’t take down a 4000 point AI Cylon fleet with a 4200 point colonial fleet without losses....git gud, or at least half decent. Having to chain fight 4,000 point fleets with a 4,200 point fleet in a game where ship damage isn’t persistent across battles should be an xp fountain....not unwinnable.
