Is this game worth it for single player?
Is there a good Campaign mode? And Skirmish modes against the AI are any good?

Is there different difficulty settings?

Any detail you can give me about the Single Player experience, will be very helpful!

Thanks for the attention!

Hi Vexxar,

The campaign in my opinion is amazing, to the point I have played it through four times. The story has a good narrative and has some nice twists.

The skirmish mode works well and they are improving the A.I. every release, but the games main focus is the campaign.

There are indeed difficulty setting, and the game does a good job of easing you in, just don’t rush the main story missions as they directly impact how fast the enemy levels as well.

As for details on the single player experience there are some pretty good guides here on the steam forums: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1362534627

I would strongly recommend the dlc’s as well.

It's ONLY worth it for single player. :)

Ah, that's good to know! It doesn't take much for an AI to be good enough for me, since I'm pretty bad at strategy games, even though I love them so much, hahah.

Thanks for the info, guys!

Campaign is pretty good, can be repetitive early before more hulls are unlocked for you and the Cylons but really hits its stride once you've got some variety about.

I play skirmish vs AI a lot. The AI is okay, not great, but has a few surprises.

There's also a singleplayer DLC mode, Anabasis, which is like the recent TV series where you take one fleet through a series of ever more difficult fleeing scenarios, and get points to tell you how you did at the end.

It's a great experience overall, I can heartily recommend it.

That's good to know! I've been watching some gameplay, and I really like what I see. The only thing keeping me from buying it right now, is that the price is still somewhat expensive, for the complete edition, and my budget is pretty short.

So I'm researching on multiple games that I have interest on, like Homeworld and Homeworld Deserts of Kharak, in order to decide what to get.

Thanks for the info!

The campaign is the best part of the game...so far. I have beat the game at all levels and have racked up almost 500 hours. Try to play the campaign with both the "Expansion Pack" and "Broken Alliance" DLCs. It's a great game.
