The campaign in my opinion is amazing, to the point I have played it through four times. The story has a good narrative and has some nice twists.
The skirmish mode works well and they are improving the A.I. every release, but the games main focus is the campaign.
There are indeed difficulty setting, and the game does a good job of easing you in, just don’t rush the main story missions as they directly impact how fast the enemy levels as well.
As for details on the single player experience there are some pretty good guides here on the steam forums: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1362534627
I would strongly recommend the dlc’s as well.
It's ONLY worth it for single player. :)
Thanks for the info, guys!
Have fun!
I play skirmish vs AI a lot. The AI is okay, not great, but has a few surprises.
There's also a singleplayer DLC mode, Anabasis, which is like the recent TV series where you take one fleet through a series of ever more difficult fleeing scenarios, and get points to tell you how you did at the end.
It's a great experience overall, I can heartily recommend it.
So I'm researching on multiple games that I have interest on, like Homeworld and Homeworld Deserts of Kharak, in order to decide what to get.
Thanks for the info!
