BSG Deadlock Miniatures?

I collect and paint spaceship miniatueres as a hobby, and I'm liking some of the designs in this game. Makes me want a small First Cylon War task force.

Has someone or will someone make miniatures based on the ships in the game? Also, what's a good place in general for BSG miniatures?

I purchased a Pegasus, Decom Galactica and First Cylon War Galactica (the proper Razor one, not the B&C ♥♥♥♥) from there a while ago.

They are nice enough. Though the mold appears to not be the highest of the highest quality, since there's some stretches on it (Galactica's alligator head on the First Cylon War variant is a bit skew, with the port side being slightly higher than the starboard side, Pegasus has some of that as well).

So don't have the highest expectations.

You could extract 3D models from this game and use a 3D printer. Most ships are in file "sharedassets4.assets".

And how one could do that?

I use DevXUnity-Unpacker[devxdevelopment.com] for that. The free demo version should be able to save meshes as *.obj.

How does one go about and do this then? Is there a way a noob like me could obtain these Ship files?
