Can console players play with PC players?

I know a lot of games have separate servers for the console releases and the desktop release of the game.

I'm not the developer, I am the development director at Slitherine, the publisher. We release a game every 1-2 weeks and while I try to get as much info as I can on all our releases and play them all I'm not an expert on details features like this. Black Lab games are the developers and the experts!

No, console release is planned for later. The guys are working on that while fixing reported issues on PC.
