Doesn't work anymore!!!! DEVELOPERS PLEASE UPDATE!!!!

I would LOVE to play this with my new VALVE INDEX, but I can't even open the door now to begin the game. My hands are facing the wrong direction and not lined up correctly with the index controllers. My hands make a grab motion when I press the trigger but again - I can't even open the door to begin the game. This is such a fun game, although a short play through it's very well done. Can someone PLEASE update this so it can be played again????
