Not sure what to try next. It works in everything else. I tried to use it in virtual desktop and it does not work. Does this App have no compatablity?

So unless I got it wrong, I need to turn my game on then start VR capture, So I got vrcapture recording, it detects the vr game that im playing, but after recording and when i tried to view it on my monitor, it just gives me a recording of a black screen, i can hear the sound in game but nothing on the visuals, am I doing something wrong? Possibly a slider for this. Often my game volume is too loud and my microphone is too soft. Being able to drop the decibel in my game a bit to make it easier to hear my microphone would be so nice.
