Accidentally reset the game.

I guess this belongs here...
So, I accidentally reset my progress. I wanted to restart the game, clicked on exit and saw the reset button. I thought that this would restart the game and not delete all my progress (I thought that the "progress will be lost" was just like the one "unsaved progress will be lost")
Is it somehow possible to get my progress back without replaying everything?
I know that this was my mistake, but still... I don't want to replay about 4-5 hours, that's why I'm asking.

Sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately no, once you reset your game your progress is permanently lost.

Happened to me as well a few minutes ago. Dunno why someone even needs such a "feature" jeeez, I am struggling between starting new or never play again. Dammit!

This is a "feature" you maybe should reconsider. I know it asks once if you really want to reset, but well in my case, i mismatched it with restart the game and i am used to get a confirm message and don't read it. Maybe you could force the players to type reset in the field, because this is very very very annoying.

Seriously this pisses me off so much right now. I couldn't retrieve a C2 network card that timed out in the open world mission Disinformation, got online and learn this is a bug that can occur and to fix it you need to close and reopen the game/log out. I didn't realize that "reset game" would literally wipe out all my progress. We actually get a prompt that we will lose current progress when we click on "shut down" and I assume this was the same thing. So yeah, I just lost over 60 hours of progress because of this. Now you're saying there is no way to revert this? I literally had 3 more Open World missions to do to complete the game and now I have to redo the academy and the solo campaign? seriously? I can't believe this.

Hey Remix2matrix!

Man, this is horrible. Reach me out on [e-mail] and we will figure something out. Restoring your progress need to be done manually by either me editing all your player data in the database or doing a full database restore and extracting only your data.

That's why we cannot really make this for everyone, but it's christmas! I'm with the kids but tomorrow I can take time, just send me your User Agent Nickname.
