I agree. I reseted the certification mission three times and I didn't find any informations about full non-IP path for cracking password.
Sorry, it was obvious to me but forgot it was not for everyone :(
Indeed it's easy to fix, I will an advanced intrusion training that show some local drive connections example.
You need to connect to the local share that you just password crack using the filebrowser
Huh. I tried the File Browser, but gave up since nothing I entered into the Target Host field worked, so I thought I was on the wrong track.
Still not sure what to do from there. I still can't connect to anything.
I have no experience in directing or partaking in the act of turning a burbs smart house into a small crater using a Drone Strike. However, I'm pretty sure if you did do that, you'd lose all network connectivity you happened to have to the newly established crater.
After the dialogue had finished and I went back to the mission menu and my desktop, I was still connected to the smarthouse, still had my C2 VPN connection - Could still turn on the barbecue, which surely would be in a distant neighbours garden of few blocks over :)
Maybe auto-disconnect all connections on the first two options, none for moving the drone away.
so to clarify are you saying that the username is /printer/hpinkjet/user/nlightman/c$ with the path being /printer/hpinkjet? because I am still so freaking confused. Please help
edit: nevermind I figured it out
The username is: nlightman
wasted me an hour reading acedamy tutorials and finally found the answer by watching youtube.
Glad I found the topic, but either I missed something in the tutorial or the relation between WMI results and what the password attack is looking for is not explained well at all.
EDIT: Oh wow, it is mentioned in the tutorial, it's just REALLY buried in the advanced tutorials. I didn't do the Network Ops tutorials before trying the first Operation, I didn't think it would immediately throw me into the advanced topics.
