This is a GAME, if you are looking "realism" I don't know what you do asking on Steam.
NT4, I'm not even sure the devs are around anymore.
Having said that, NT4 feels more like you work for a company, and they've given you the tools for their specific mission-set.
Those tools are quite fun to play with, but you're never really creating anything of your own.
The UI is very Kali Linux based.
So, if you want to feel like you're logging into a company/government administrated computer and are required to stay in your own lane, then NT4 is quite realistic.
NT4 = linear and finite.
I thought the devs wanted to make this game a sandbox MMO. They even did an announcement and then shortly after scrammed from the scene. I even chatted with Anashel on discord last year in hopes of buying this project, adding AI and AI NPCs, turning the entire game into a sandbox. Not relying on players being in the game, but can also support that. Anashel didnt respond back after our first chat.
I think Steam should really look into devs that put out games then leave it there with no updates. This game didn't go into final/retail version either. So its assumed it is in Early Access. We all payed money for this only to end up with devs that disappeared.
Oh well
However, i did take a deeper look at the game and decided not to buy it. For now, i'm very happy with GreyHack. NT4 looked interesting though.
