What is the functional difference between the 'Active Directory' and 'File Browser' tools?

In real, Active Directory is a directory service that Microsoft developed for the Windows domain networks.

In game I never used it for now. I guess there is no mission that uses it.

So the active directory will give you a corporate structure (departement and employee) and this can be usefull for MITM attack but more important you will also access the company password policies and encryption rules. This will give you critical information for a token session password attack (hash).

There are use cases within some networks which have activedirectory adresses. Those typically have no password protection.
