Countdown to Release!

Oct 28

To all aspiring Miami business people!

We've made it through Steam Next Fest and are still amazed by how many of you tried out Cash is King!.

The amount of feedback has overwhelmed us as well, and we're working flat out to iron out the last details before release.

Thank you, community!

First of all, we'd like to thank all of you! Your support and feedback help us keep improving Cash is King!. That's why we want to thank everyone who took part in our Cash is King! playtests or played the demo.

A particularly big thank-you also goes to all the streamers who played Cash is King! with their communities. We were able to watch a stream or two and had a lot of fun watching!

What happens to the demo?

On November 1st we will take the current demo offline so that, in the final phase before release, we can focus completely on the full version.

After release, we will update the demo and, as things stand, put it back online a few weeks later.

Of course, your demo save games will remain compatible with the full version. Still, we would advise you to start a fresh save in the full version, as we will be making a few more adjustments to the beginning of the game until release.

IF you throw the water gun in the sea, you get soft locked

Just pushed by mistake the button to throw an item while I had the water gun selected, and was on the beach. The gun went in the water, and since the game does not let you go ion the water, I was soft locked... As you cannot continue the game without the water gun and you cannot go in the water to pick it up...

Next Fest Demo Update!

Oct 16

It’s finally here: the Cash is King! Next Fest Demo Update is live!

There’s a ton of new stuff to discover in this version. Alongside fresh business opportunities, you can now experience the automation of Cash is King! for the first time by hiring your first worker.

But that’s not all. We’ve also polished the balancing and general gameplay. Once your popularity is above 10, Rico now pays you for sweeping away dirt, and begging earns you more money too, depending on your popularity.

You can also look forward to a few changes in the world that give you a taste of the full version. For example, you can discover Timford’s upgrade shop or Sofa King’s furniture store.

Be sure to mark November 5 on your calendar. That’s when you can finally dive into the full version of Cash is King!

We’re looking forward to your feedback!
Sunny greetings

Give lemonade = attack customer?

I opened the lemonade stand. Now I've made a lemonade and I'm holding it. Trying to give it to customers effectively THROWS IT AT THEM making them angry. The graphic seems to show using the left mouse button but - left or right mouse button - neither GIVES it to them. This is super annoying and not at all obvious. How do I give the customer the lemonade?...

Demo Experience Discussion

Demo Experience Discussion Very habit forming game for me. I find myself cooling everyone I can find. Not fond of cleaning so much (sweeping), but occasionally is fine. Bottle storage? I hope there'll be bottle storage. I couldn't seem to use boxes to gather them. No place to put storage near Lemonade stand? I hope there'll be the ability to add storage lockers there. Are things disappearing in the world? (I could've sworn I left a stack of newspapers on the newspaper stand but later I di...

After the update

I don’t know if this was intentional or if it’s some kind of update bug, but you can’t collect more than $5 at a time. Having to keep going back to collect money constantly is really inconvenient! Before the update, you could collect $25.
