Its not that bad honestly, often you have to walk through area with puppets to procced into the story, so kill two birds with one stone. Or finish the game to unlock the teleportation scroll to teleport to all puppets location. Just take it chill, plug some beat, turn up the volume and do it :)
what datas did you erase ?
go to your library in steam and right click naruto storm 2, then make a shortcut on your desk. Right click the shorcut on your desk click propeties and look at the URL, there should be numbers at the end (this is your game API) remember it. last step, open your pc drive, click on games, then steam, then user data, then open the folder '########', then click on your game API the one you got to remember and erase it (make a backup somewhere)
Also you have to desynchronise steam cloud in the game propeties in your steam library
hope it help
thx a lot yo
No prob bro, glad it worked yo
I've decided to give it a try in redoing the story. Can you confirm the steps?
- backup game data folder in userdata
- delete game data folder
- start a new walkthrough
- do the missions and then talk to the ninja? Do I also have to do the cursed puppets missions or should I do them after getting the achievement?
For those who didn't get the story assembler achievement, the trick is to pickup the story scrolls from the Sasuke story Fragment last (in the correct order 101 to 108) then go to the NPC and access the story menu. Unfortunately I did not have a backup save so here is what I did:
- backed up my original save folder, where I had 999999 SP and all the side quests done (folder 543870 in userdata... the id of the game is also in the link to this page)
- started a new game, did only the main quests
- after finishing main quest I gathered the story scrolls (blue) only
- talk to the ninja in the hokage office and access the story menu
- then I did the cursed dolls quest (only to unlock the Sasuke Fragment)
- finished the fragment and then I gathered the scrolls (101 up to 108) in the forest of quiet movement towards the akatsuki base
- I went to the ninja in the hokage office and accessed the story menu and voila: THE ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED!
Thanks Stihii!
I am also having this bug, which indeed a Pain in the... story. For some reason, I have 999999SP, finished the story, all the titles.. but I still have to unlock achievement "finish chapter 6"... And of course, I have unlocked acheviement about final chapter and fragment...
Anyway, can you confirm that you erased your game data after backup and start again ? OR, did you just click "new game", not erasing previous data?
Did you put Steam Cloud save OFF for this game? For all games?
Did you do all this one shot, not shuting the game off?
Really nice of you to have come back here to tell about your move to unlock this bug, again.
Anyway, can you confirm that you erased your game data after backup and start again ? - after backup I erased the game data (but BACK IT UP!!! :) )
Did you put Steam Cloud save OFF for this game? For all games? - I run with steam cloud ON for all games, but when attempting to unlock this achievement I did turn Steam Cloud OFF
Did you do all this one shot, not shuting the game off? - I think I did it in one shot, but I might have not either... I do not think it matters. What I do think matters is that you collect 101 up to 108 scrolls in the order they are arranged and collect them lastly (101, then 102, then 103 etc). The good news is that the achievement is unlockable... so do not give up.
Did none of you think of making a save game right before collecting the last scroll so others could use it to skip the 6 hour grind?
