Hey Developers, Why no rematch with Meka Dragon?

how come meka dragon cant be fought again? is it due to the original game not allowing you to fight him again, or what?

i mean, the game gets pretty boring after you complete it, every boss except meka dragon can be fought again by entering secret doors after collecting all the gems... but lets face it,every boss except vampire dragon are pushovers once you have the legendary set/gaelic sword... and to top it off you dont even get to face meka dragon a second time like everyone else. major letdown :c


but a fight with a stronger, higher HP meka dragon? and i dont mean a rehash fight like the other secret boss doors... I mean different attack pattern, different arena, maybe even a different body entirely.

hey the guy's a robot, who knows, maybe he upgraded. Meka Dragon MK.2. hes heard you defeated the other dragons, and reversed the curse he set apon you in the first place, so now hes back for one last smack down.


I dont know, im just kinda dissapointed the games over and done with and im clinging to the hope that thered be more :c

You should look for Vile1011's fan remake of the game, provided you can get it to run (I can't :/ ... and I can't find it anymore, otherwise I'd provide the link here ) . From what I've seen online, it has a bonus dungeon where the boss is none other than Meka Dragon MK2 :) .

We indeed didn't add any hidden door for him and kept it the same way as the original. You are right in regards to the bosses not giving you much challenge after getting all that equipment - I recommend you to try hard mode (or if you're up for it extreme mode) if you want to continue playing and need something extra to really challenge you.

Alex, have you tried the version with the 64-bit patch?

Vile1011 still has the source code (he kindly sent it to me at some point, even though I ended up not really looking at it very much), so perhaps if we get his agreement somebody could repackage/recompile it, if that 64-bit patch doesn't work for you?
