Unfortunately by nature of the retro engine the game is locked at 60 fps, and you might even get some tearing if your screen isn't capable of switching to 60 hz.
I guess that means on having to pass with buying the game. I didn't really invest in a 144hz monitor to have games force an FPS lock and then going out of my way to devalue what I'd invested in. I hope the enxt game made isn't locked to 60fps in the future.
Sadly I'll be refunding this game on steam, but hopefully I can pick it up on a console where that wont be an issue.
I find that to be the bigger issue, because if I have to buy it on a console, then it shows that the devs didn't really care about the PC version.
A 60fps lock just isn't good enough these days, especially when you have higher end hw, and yet the game still dips below 60fps.
Lol as a company they don't have to invest in things for 1% who will care about that in a game like this..owning a 144hz monitor myself you are being completely unreasonable.
I guess you'll never play BOTW because it isn't 144 FPS? Metroid Prime isn't 144 FPS either better not ever touch that. RE4 is locked I believe make sure you skip that one too.
Except that Zelda and Metroid are stuck on Nintendo HW, not PC hw, so your logic is moot in that regard.
Call me unresonable all you want, but it doesn't justify you acting like an unreasonable ass to others.
I understand, but at the same time, I just don't feel like going for the game, because it doesn't support my monitor. I'd rather play a game that doesn't ever dip below 60 or being locked at 60fps. I opted for a higher refresh rate monitor, because I wanted to avoid those two issues within PC gaming.
If in the future, your studio decides to make games that support higher refresh rates, I might end up buying from you.
