I would like to know if we can sell our tamed pets and if yes, where exactly?

You cannot, you can store them in your concession if you dont want to take them with you, or even abadon them

You are right - at least human companions can be sold at city of Hawkoria.
But its better to make land concession (basically player house system) and leave companions you dont need for current activity there.

You can sell tamed animals at breeders. Look for farms.
