Development continues on Joe Lost Island, and quite a few things have been added or changed since the last update.

There are two new game modes, a bunch of new Deathmatch maps, reworked bosses and quite a few improvements to combat, equipment and the UI.

Endurance is a new endless mode where you fight your way through rooms spread across four different themes.

Encounters get harder as you progress, but you'll come across travelling shops to help you prepare for what's ahead.

There's also a momentum-based scoring system. Your score multiplier ranges from 0.5x to 2x, rewarding you for pushing forward rather than playing it safe.

Endurance also has its own leaderboards, so you can see how your runs compare to everyone else's.

Jodfather now has a playable training course for anyone who wants to learn the basics before jumping into the other modes.

Boot Camp covers movement, using the plunger, shooting, grenades, traps, looting, healing and unlocking perks.

Deathmatch now has 15 designed arenas alongside the existing randomly generated maps.

Weapons have been placed around the arenas with combat in mind, and bot navigation has been improved to work better with the different layouts.

Some arenas also feature the darkness of the Temple, where torches help you see what's around you.

All four Temple Crawler bosses have been reworked.

They now have their own arenas, more varied attacks and different behaviours as their health drops.

Attack warnings have also been made clearer, and boss health bars are now animated.

Weapons can now come with modifiers that aren't always beneficial. Some will give you an advantage, while others might make you think twice about using that weapon.

Champion enemies have also gained new behaviours, including volleys, pouncing attacks, quakes and explosions on death.

More shrines and war totems have been added as well.

A number of smaller changes have also made it into this update:

• Improvements to Jodfather and Jobster.

• Looting and inventory improvements.

• Fixed an issue where larger inventory items could disappear.

• Redesigned menu artwork and animated cards.

• Clearer XP and level displays.

• Friendlier word seeds.

• Improved enemy pursuit behaviour.

• Improved animal hitboxes.

There's still more work to do, but the game is coming along nicely.

Thanks to everyone following development!
