Remote Play Together Not Working

Hi!
My friend and I attempted to use SRPT so that I can play on PC and he can play VR from a distance. We managed to figure out how he could invite while he was in VR, but the game did not give me control to play the hider (PC role). We attempted to invite each other the other way around (me inviting him) but he is not able to access it through VR at all this way.
It would helpful if there was a tutorial specifically for panoptic on how to do SRPT; but does anyone have any advice on how we might be able to get around this issue? thanks :3

Did this get broken at some point?

Confirmed. Totally broken and devs needs to fix it.
