Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition doesn't start

Hi,

i'm having some trouble starting the game.
when i hit play, it goes to to the start bar and keeps loading indefinitely. Sometimes it's a black screen but nothing more. It keeps loading indefinitely.
i can't close it either. it kinda crashes explorer. i have to log out via task manager to be able to close it completely. Even if i manage to close the app, explorer is still crashed since i can't click or alt+tab to anything.

any ideas? i understand that servers are dead but it says that it can be played offline. my daughter got an olaf figurine for this game and wanted to play it so i really need your help in figuring this out.

Two things:

1. Try uninstalling and reinstalling

2. The physical figurines cannot be used with the steam version.

Thanks for the quick reply.

1. will do that just now. I did a file verification prior but it turned up nothing.

2. Yes, i understand. But the fact that she read on the figurine that a game exists with the characters she loves made me buy the game. The figurine is decoration only.

Well...uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing. The same problem appears. Black screen, game crashes without an error, black screen remains. can't do anything unless i restart/sign out via task manager.

I also tried running it in offline to prevent it to connect to cloud/servers. Same thing happens.

Any more ideas? i'm scratching my head with a 5y old crying in the background....

Hey there! Just for the sake of curiosity, what are your pc specs? I saw you have a pretty extensive steam library, so I don't doubt that you are well within the spec requirements but I was just wondering if compatibility had something to do with the game not working. These kinds of games are definitely questionable with their compatibility.

Main specs below
Ryzen 5 3600 liquid cooled
B550 Asrock Taichi mobo
3060ti gigabyte aorus master
32gb (4x8) DDR4 3200mhz Hyper X predator RAM
Windows 11 on stable channel.

Os installed on Kingston M2. pci express 3.0
Games installed on another identical Kingston M2.

Yeah, those are all definitely good for specs. I wonder if there are issues with Windows 11... Can somebody on this forum with Windows 11 confirm compatibility?
