Player made maps? And other doubts

Im aware the multiplayer is off now, but are we still able to get player made maps somewhere somehow? Can we at least create then still, local files and such?

Also im curious about the gameplay... i like family games when they can be challenging in some way; But from gameplay videos ive seen it seens like really fun but not challenging at all.. are there difficulty options for the scenarios/sets? For toybox?

Truth is i always wanted a game with free creation of modes wildly different on pc - like little big planet- and i had that impression with Infinity. Am i correct and can it still be done? All create-and-play games i see for pc go only as far as creating maps and objects not the context of how they're played... hows infinity on this regard?

Im sorry for asking so much its just that pretty much all videos im finding don't go into the details, aren't for the pc versions etc... any help?

Yes, since the online support was for uploading/downloading toy boxes, the multiplayer, and participating in online events. On top of unlocking some stuff that happened in timed events and several feats rewarded for certain tasks only doable in multiplayer. This holds true for the previous two versions, too.

So sad... thats why i think every mp game needed a hosting option, direct ip even.

Hope the fanmade server works but... the way its all closed with so many promises like its a sure thing raises some flags for me.

PC DI never had coop split screen, so I plan on buying DI 3.0 Gold now and later buying DI used for the 360 to play with others.
