About the online/multiplayer in game

i wasn't purchase this game yet . And i have some question that need to be answer.
1./ Can i play with my friend on LAN network
2./ If 1 cant then can i invite him from Steam friends list to play in toy box mode ?
3./ Recently, i download the cracked version to test, but i dont see the "Online/Multiplayer" on Pause Menu ?

Please teach me !

There used to be online multiplayer through Steam which had never been available for 3.0 on Steam before, only when the Gold edition became available. It seems to have been disabled now which I assume was because it ended on consoles which is a shame because it had been working well on Steam.

so that mean, even if my friend and i have the 3.0 GE on steam, we still cant play online/multiplayer ?

That's a work in progress thing right now as far as I'm aware. So it might restore MP on PC but I'm sure consoles is their priority. I don't think it's fair to tell people to sign up for it at the moment as there's nothing yet available or have I missing something?
