No You must have a constant internet connection, I tried running the game in steam offline mode and it wouldn't let me, you don't need Internet for the game but for steam, cause steam won't let you play it unless you are online on steam.

i think h emeans offline as in no mulitplayer yes u can play it there is no more online stuff tin this remake
