Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition

Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition

Workshop
Is there any possibility that the game will be accessable to the Steam Workshop? It might be a good way to share toyboxes if the Community Content is shut down.

No idea. How does that work?

well, people have been saying that the Community Content option, which allows one to share toyboxes with other players, will shut down with the servers. I am just wondering if an update would allow the use of the Steam Workshop to compensate for this.

I don't think so... Want to get a funny hint?! There are still loading screen infos saying "Play with a friend to earn more sparks" XDD Kinda awesome if you think about the missing MP Function on PC ^^

So if they haven't even fixed that, you don'T need to expect anything anymore ^^ Just play and enjoy... maybe there will be a way to export and inport later due to a Mod off steam.

Yeah, I just thought it would be very interesting to see what the Steam community could come up with. Like new toys, backgrounds, sidekicks, and playable characters.

I was trying to mod the game, but not lucky enough. I learned that the game can read the unpacked files, so modded files can work, but still trying to figure how to edit some files. By now I just messed the ATAT Static toy by trying to bring the one that moves.
Hope someone has more info about this.

Cool idea, but I remember one of my friends telling me if they'd brought the animated one to the ToyBox, they'd run out of room for building.

I like the idea that you have. I wish I could help in this area but I have never actually made modded files for a game. Although I had originally planned to have the modded section to be about sharing toyboxes once the Community Content is gone, few added textures or maybe a new character would be pretty cool.

I doubt that steam workshop will get added since the developers would have to add it, and the game has basically been killed off already. It would be really awesome though, and actually making downloadable toyboxes would probably be pretty easy.

Check out this thread about sharing toyboxes from reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Disney_Infinity/comments/5mnihn/guide_sharing_toyboxes_in_the_gold_edition/
It looks like it's possible by just copying some files. The big thing this seems to be missing is some type of wrapper or utility to make it easier to manage, and then a repository to list and store toybox files.

Nice, i hope we can make a share thread here to play others toyboxes.

It would be nice. I just wish there was an easy way to ask Disney Interactive to do such a thing
Sadly, considering that Disney wants to bury Infinity, I don't see a way.
