Disney Infinity 2.0: Gold Edition

Disney Infinity 2.0: Gold Edition

Launch Issues (game runs but I can't see it)
I've installed the game but when it launches I can only hear the game, nothing happens on screen, i can still go on my desktop and go into my files but the game is still running in the background & I cant interact with it at all.
Has anyone had a similar experience? If so any advise on how to fix it would be appreciated.

I can't even hear the game. It says it launches but nothing. I can play 3.0 but not 1.0 or 2.0. No one seems to want to help in support. Steam refers me to Disney. Disney is no help

I've had the same response Disney has no support for the infinity series anymore by the looks of things, if it doesn't work and no-one is willing to help im just going to get my money back I think, shame though I love the GOTG characters on 3.0 and wanted to play through their playset. :(

Was a solution ever found for this? I just upgraded to a newer pc, gold editions were all working fine on my old win7 machine, but newer win10 machine will only load up 3.0 correctly. 1 and 2 just give me a launching msg and then it goes away and nothing.

My game won't launch... Everything is ok though. Why?

I just bought the game, same problem.

Turns out it was missing a file called D3dx9_43.DLL
The file is included in direct x. To fix this issue I downloaded direct x safely from the microsoft website. Game now runs perfectly.
Hope this helps someone.

(ps. I'm running windows 7 on a 2011 sony vaio.)

I had a simulât problem and the issue was due to overclocked refresh rate. When I went back to the default refresh rate, and deleted the custome refresh rate, the game ran normally

Go to the file location (right-click on game title and go to files location).
Right click on DisneyInfinity2.exe -> properties -> Compatibility tab -> check Disable fullscreen Otimization -> OK. Then Run double-clicking that file
Worked like a charm for me ^^
