Luckily, I'd played Sally Face multiple times so I had almost every single one by the time episode 5 came around. I could understand if someone just went on YouTube to watch it. Some puzzles in Sally Face are not ones I figured out on my own because they were difficult, in my opinion, but it was satisfying unlocking the epilogue off just a hunch. Same with door 5. Some people might want to do the same but if they don't, there's no shame. Watching YouTubers reactions to the game is enjoyable as well so I saw a lot from the game before ever playing it. When you love something, it's nice seeing it make other people happy as well.
I'm wondering if its more so whether you get the hidden lore based achievements - Like the gearboy game in ep. 1 and 2, Jim's diary in 3, and the tapes in 4.
Then again, knowing my incredibly stupid luck- it's probably a glitch that I got the epilogue lol.
It would make sense if you only needed certain achievements for the epilogue but I don't know what those would be.
Congratulations on getting the epilogue without needing 100% for every episode. ^_^
