Episode 4 help

can't believe im stuck in the very first portion of the game but for the life of me can't figure out the code for door number 4. i found the symbols on the sides of the walls but when i input the ones that match up it just... doesn't work, so obviously i'm missing something, and for the life of me can't figure out what. it's probably gonna be really obvious but. lend me a hand plox

the code is: diamond shape, bow looking shape, and the diamond with a y on it sorry if my explaination is bad. I'm not sure how to describe it.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what hints there are to the puzzle. I just messed around with it for a while.

The way you solve this puzzle is by looking at the two symbols in doors 1-3. The symbols can be converted into numbers by looking at the number of lines in each symbol, and same for the symbols on door 4. They're numbered 1 through 8.

To break it down completely, the numbers are 53, 33 and 42. You add the left digit of door 3 with the left digit of door 2, the right digit of door 2 with the right digit of door 3, and the left digit of door 1 with the left digit of door 2 and you get the answer.

I might not be explaining it very well but that's how I got it and it worked lol

That's so intense. I literally figured it out by the diamond box looking like an eye, the box with v shapes being symbolic of the faces tacked up, and the diamond with Y shape over it being in 2 parts, like body parts fdhdf

That’s a bit much, I think . I just counted the amount of lines in each room (both symbols together), so instead of 53, 33 & 42, I got 7, 6 & 8 (not sure why we got such different numbers, adding yours should make mine but that's not the case).
Then I entered the digits in inverse order: 8, 6 & 7

Haha weird! Could be that my memory was bad and I forgot what the numbers actually were and that's why we have different results. Yours makes a lot more sense than what I did, I tend to overcomplicate puzzles though
