after literally doing everything and beating every enemy and clearing every dungeon, the game rewards you by raising the level cap to 99.
.
.
but what now? if i've done everything the game, what's the point of grinding up to level 99?
and where am i supposed to grind all these levels? i'm supposed to kill wyvern omegas on babyl c24, 10 minutes of fighting to get 5k xp when i'm probably gonna need millions?
i mean, yeah, my squad's equipments are still in the mid to low 30's. i can farm for better gear and as i level up, i guess those enemies will get easier, but this sounds like hundreds of hours worth of grinding, but there are no "goals" left in the game. unless you count getting to level 99 as a "goal".
i still have a couple of steam cheevs left to go (not sure how i don't have the survive 3k battles yet, either it's glitched or i am overestimating hiw many battles i fought, the game doesn't tell you, it tells me i have killed 12k+ enemies, but lots of those are drills that appear in huge groups, so maybe i didn't fight 3k battles yet. . )
I assume it's because on the PS vita version, these games were meant to be "episodic serials"?
semester 1 was the first game in the series
semester 2 was the second
and i guess operation babel (which i also own) is supposed to be the third game that wraps up all the loose plot threads, like how we get into the abyss tower and stuff which is left unanswered in this game?
but then, i read on the operation babel forum, you can't even import your characters from this game into that one, so then what's the point of grinding to level 99 in this?
i played through the sequel , Operation Babel, and i had to start again with level 1 but now i have my group between level 55-70. babel has higher level items and the post game has better grind spots and a level 99 ultimate boss, which i did not beat yet.
and they also added a super fast auto battle command, so yeah.
this game is good, but no reason to get to level 99. just do it in the sequel .
