How is it compared with Class of Heroes 2?
...For those who know that PSP gem, at least. This game reminds me of Elminage Gothic (which I own on GOG), and I'd like to know some comparison with these games (didn't even know this game launched until I saw it after browsing the news).

This is easier than Elminage Gothic. No class changes, less restrictions, battles feel easier, more quality of life stuff like constant map, auto movement, single academic class replacing bard, thief and bishop at once etc.
Its close to Sword city in terms of gameplay, but not as polished. and id honestly recommend sword city over this one if you have to chose.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I'm keeping one eye on Sword city (just waiting for a bigger price drop, I have a decent backlog so I'm not in a hurry), but loved the artstyle used here and the price seems decent.

So you say that there is no class change, like ever? Kinda sad, didn't mind that, at least there is the constant map and so on.

It's got lots of similarities to Class of Heroes, especially the crafting. In the original Code Hazard the crafting was almost exactly the same as the CoH one, but now they've streamlined it and made it better.

You still have the 'Junk Weapon/ armour' and tiers of material to add to it to make the item, but now if you have all of it in your inventory you can auto make it rather than selecting and adding each recipe component. It's a lot better honestly.

Although it's not as polished or with as much depth of character building as Stranger of Sword City, I prefer this as the dungeons are much better designed imo and there's more variety of items to find/ craft.

So dungeons are better designed in this game? I have never tried Stranger of sword city, but some reviews expressed their disappoinment dungeons layout wise. I'll keep an eye on this game though, as it seems very interesting.

Having played both this and SOSC(and Generation Xth). I'd say the dungeons here are more complex, mechanics are more varied and fun as well.

Also later on in Operation Babyl, the story has one of the most daring plot turn I've seen, yet so well executed into its setting. It gets better.

I see, thanks for your opinion here. I'd like to ask another thing: Is here aswell th "age" system? Do people age and inevitably die (this happened in elminage gothic and similar games)?
Age does nothing in this game. Also your characters are highschool student so unusually high or low age doesn't fit in this game anyway..

Yeah, age is a leftover from the original series of games (Generation Xth) were if your characters got too old they would lose their Code Rise powers and have to retire from your party. Thankfully they dropped the aging mechanic so it's purely a cosmetic thing.

Well, that's good to hear, thanks!
