Support for 6 controllers?

Have you looked into supporting more than 4 controllers?

Noticed that you used Rewired for inputs. Checking the documentation it looks like XInput can be disabled so you can access more than 4 controllers. (Rumble won't work in DirectInput mode though.)

Hello.
We will try that for the next update.
However, if XInput can't be disabled at the runtime, we wont trade the rumble for the 6 controllers support. We'll keep you in touch.

Thanks for exploring the option.

Most of the games supporting the ability to disable XInput require you to restart the game between toggling the option. Might be the case here as well.

Hey, Crewsaders looks nice, but i cant play it with my friends because there are not enough controllers supported. Do you have a Idea when the Update will arrive?

personally I would also really like to see support for 6 controllers. We launched the game and were quite bummed out when we realised that we weren't able to get the last person to play (keyboard + 5 controllers).. It feels like the game is aiming at 3v3 game, but it doesn't seem to be possible to play like that

According to documentation Re-wired you can toggle XInput on and off at runtime.

Another interesting thing is that even though you're using Re-Wired the game doesn't detect Direct Input controllers like I would expect it to.

Any news on this? Some games like "Beat Hazard" even have the option in-game to use direct input instead, so it seems like it would be possible to switch this.
