Couldn't play?

Tried to play it for the first time with a friend last night, we were both using xbox 360 controllers. it seemed like none of the input we tried worked except to open the menu. Tried getting him to join, nothing happened, tried even picking a team, nothing happened? It doesn't show up under big picture mode for controller supported games either?

Hello. Thanks for buying the game. Had you any other controllers plugged in ? Are you sure that correct drivers are installed (can you play other games with this controller ?). What version of Windows do you use ?

I had just the two 360 controllers attached to my computer via wireless, they work on other games. I have an official microsoft wireless dongle for the controllers. I am using windows 10 64 bit. I was able to enter the menu and make selections there, as well as able to enter game from the main menu. When it came time to pick teams though I didn't notice the curser moving, and when I hit the button to join team I didn't have anything happen.
