Fixed language selection on first launch

12:05pm

Fixed an issue that caused the game to start in Japanese on first launch instead of using the language set in Steam.

On first launch, the game now uses your Steam language if it is supported. If you have already chosen a language in the game's settings, your choice will be kept. If no supported language can be detected, the game will start in English.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for reporting the issue.

4,000+ wishlists in one month—thank you! 20% off for the first 10 days

7:55am

HAPPY PROPAGANDA has passed 4,000 wishlists just one month after its Steam store page went live!

Thank you to everyone who wishlisted the game, featured it, or helped spread the word. Knowing that you're looking forward to playing has been a huge encouragement throughout development.

As a thank-you, we're celebrating the October 28 release with a 20% launch discount for the first 10 days.

Spend five days with rookie presenter Happy Lun, overseeing a state broadcast in the communist nation of Vesna. We hope you'll join her and see where your choices lead.

After playing, we’d love to hear your thoughts in a Steam review. Your feedback helps keep us motivated to make more games.

Launch day is almost here. Thank you for supporting the game along the way!

It's a game that plays around a fairly uncommon setting familiar to the one in Papers Please. The art's cute and it's a pretty fun read, so I'd recommend it if you're looking for a way to spend an evening.
The only gripe I had is that figuring out how to reach all the endings can get grindy without a skip function or a way to go back to a previous day. It's a minor grievance, though, especially for an indie game.

The premise and execution looks great. Hopeless, sad atmosphere and pushing your own morality makes this game scratch an itch that only Papers please did. (so far I finished first day only, but i wanted to give review sooner to support the dev, will update it as i will go on. But it feels and looks great while being dirt cheap :) Only thing i am afraid of, is that it will get repetetive, we'll see)

Fun game! bit on the short side but if you love the heavy atmosphere of something like Papers Please, AS well as the take-care-of-your-virtual-girl type game like Needy Streamer Overload, then this game is indeed perfect (very precise mix of games indeed)

Only downside is that we don't get to hear Rene sing, sadge
