We're preparing Button Down's next paid DLC, Tool Pack, and we're aiming for a November release.
Before anything else, we want to share the direction we're taking.

The free expansion added new places, and the Twin Pack added a new way to move. Tool Pack is about giving you a reason to run the chapters you've already cleared again — the same chapter should feel like a different run when you bring different weapons.

Right now, the four shared weapons in every run are fixed. In Tool Pack we're building a way to pick four shared weapons yourself and put them in your pocket before you set out.
The number of weapons that show up on level-up cards stays the same as today — even with more weapons to choose from, you shouldn't see the weapons and evolutions you want any less often.

The new weapons don't come from the drawer — they come from a toolbox. Small, familiar tools like nuts and screws fight alongside the button. We're giving each weapon an evolution, and building a 40-minute chapter to try them out in.

Challenge and Expanded Challenge are where everyone competes on the same terms, so we plan to keep today's standard four weapons there.

Once the store page is up, we'll link it here and in the FAQ.
Which tools would you like to see as weapons? What would you pack? Let us know in the Suggestions & Balance Feedback thread.

A button that lost its pair is finding its way home, through the washing machine and back to the coat. The paid DLC Button Down: Twin Pack is out now.

You steer only the plain button. The partner hangs on a single thread — it slides, gets dragged along, and swings wide when you turn sharply. You fight with both buttons' weapons, but the two share one health bar.

• Twin · Pearl — needle and rubber band

• Twin · Maroon — pencil lead and keyring

• Twin · Gold — coin and bottle cap

• Washing Machine — the Spin Drum waits at the end. It pushes, pulls, then rolls at you three times.

• Coat Pocket — the Buttonhole cinches its ring shut. Step out of the ring during the warning.

Also inside: 18 new enemies, the twin elite Pair of Gloves, and 8 achievements.

• Fixed Drawer enemies showing up in the expansion chapters (Sewing Box and Backpack).

• The map screen now shows the Twin Pack chapters (locked until you buy the Twin Pack).

• You need Button Down. The chapters and twin buttons appear once the game is updated to 1.2.0 or later.

• You do not need the free expansion (Lost & Found Pack).
