Hell, even some characters from these games appear on his/her hentai works.
Artist name is ayase hazuki.
Blame parents who don't know what a warning or 18+ means on stuff
With how cheap this is and also the fact it WOULD distract from the gameplay itself, it may be why it is not in but I don't see anywhere the game promised nudity, if it is in the tags, ANYONE can add them in
You can even see this on the store page:
"*This is a puzzle game with sexy characters but no nudity. "
Just to make it clear I don't care if a game has nudity or not, I bought this for the actual game, the girls are a nice visual style to look at compared to other Mahjong games but they don't strive me towards winning more, I just play it for fun
Some players need to stop thinking "Sexy girls? MUST HAVE NUDITY" type hype of a game
But i can't blame people doing this here, considering where some of the game assets/artwork came from.
But people should stop being quick to judge and sterotyping the game because of the artwork
The screenshots on the store page proudly use a girl in a skimpy bikini top with perky nipples as a selling feature of the game. I don't think it's "stereotyping" to assume that the game is using sex as a selling point, it IS using sex as a selling point, it's just half-assing it so that they don't get too high of an age rating and prevent kids from being able to purchase it (not that most mothers would be okay with their 11 year old sons buying a game with artwork like what's already in it).
Kind of like when they censored "Monster Monpiece" for the Western audience, despite the game openly and brazenly using sex appeal as part of its overall appeal. People who want the sex will be turned off by the lack of skin, and people who don't want the sex will still not buy the game on principal because it's still sexy.
