is the game playable without vr? thank you, because I don't have virtual equipment, it's not my cup of...coffee

When I select monitor mode via the Steam client the game still launches SteamVR ? Is it suppose to do that ? I disabled the Steam "Desktop Game theater" for the game but it still launches SteamVR.

I got a Thrustmaster TWCS throttle. When i move it forward the ship gain speed but to keep that speed (not max speed) i need to put it in the middle range. If i move it a bit back, the ship stops

I'm enjoying playing this game in VR with a hotas setup, but have run into the problem where everytime I quit the game and come back, my controls are all reset and have to be rebound. I'm not even plugging/unplugging devices between sessions. In fact, I just tested it now, played a mission, quit, immediately relaunched with steamvr still running, and all my controllers were reset again. This is kind of a pain, I wish there is a way to fix this....

Hey, I am using a Speedlink Black widow joystick (http://www.speedlink.com/?p=2&cat=214&pid=39209&paus=1), and this doesn't seem to work with Starfighter Arduxim. The ship is turning all the time around different axis. In the "filter" menu those axis are shown as well - while in windows they are reported as perfectly centered. I consider buying the game, yet only if I can play with my joystick. Any chance of a fix?...
