Tried hiding in the trees but still got slaughtered. Damn this is hard. I might have to lower the difficulty level. 

A fun defensive battle on a nice map - nearly won but ran out of turns. 

Bigger battles in 1945 - this one was a slaughter, I really need to rethink my strategy here. 

Germans on the defence. Lost 1st time, won 2nd. 

3rd attempt - this time I brought up all my tanks first but kept my infantry reserves back to avoid casualties. Slaughtered again....... :-( 

If you're curious, these are the difficulty settings. "Some missions will be harder to complete..." That's an understatement! 

4th attempt - this time I switched to Classic Casual mode and managed to win in 11 turns out of 12. Still difficult, but winnable. 

Treachery! Surprise invasion by the Soviets at the end of WW2. Americans have to protect the supply dumps. 

They just keep coming, I can't hold them back. 

I guess this is why they call it Tank Battle!
