BUG? How do I leave the beginning town?

Is this game bugged. I cannot find a way to leave the beginning town.
Also the door outside the sheep pen is bugged. If you enter it, you are trapped in the game and cannot move.

BTW, I love RPG Maker games and have at least 60 of them. However, this game is really really bad and is so buggy too.
I cannot even leave the first town at all and have explored everywhere.

The guards in town allows you to have endless battle, and you can get infinite number of gold and XP by just fighting them over and over again.
There is one other guy in town that can join you.
There is guards in town where you can trade items, and that is it.
The weapon shop and potion shop does not sell anything.
And you cannot even leave the very first town!!!

Only 2 of the achievements are working.
There is an achievement for finding a potion. I found 5 potion and bought 1 potion but that achievement does not even trigger.

I believe this game is a scam.
BTW, I also bought and played Final Quest 1, and find that I cannot get far in the game, because there is really no storyline and you cannot get very far with the game too!!!!

The issues you've had have been fed back to the dev team and they're looking in to them.
I'll link the developer here to give an official response and to try and support you guys with a fix.

Yes, the build I played allowed me to leave town. But we had some other issues prior to launch, some new things were added and other things were fixed. Something may have gone wrong and caused an event to not activate or a script to not be called/be called early.

The dev will be here asap to give a more detailed answer and help you guys out.

I am currently looking into the current build for you guys and ill report back in the next hour or so,

This is my top priority and if there is an issue we will get a release out ASAP, please keep posting any bugs you have found so that we can get them in the next release for you.


P.S some guys mentioned about issues with FQ1 if you have found any issues with the game please post on the FQ1 discussion page and we can work on any bug fixes for that game,

I also have a walkthrough that I will be sharing with you guys in the coming days..

Thank you so much, I am getting an update to you guys , and any bugs please let me know, and I release an update,

Usually how we release updates are as follows,
- If its a major bug stopping you progressing the game we send an update out straight away.
- Minor bugs will be released usually on a weekly basis from bugs that have been reported for the week, this will iron out a lot of bugs within the first week. then on after we send monthly updates in the form of new features for the game.

Keys are sent over as soon as we can get a response from our contact at Groupees. If we bundle, when a game hits Steam, we usually request the amount of keys they need immediately. If they take their time replying, there's not much we can do.

You need to raise this with Groupees and ask their staff to contact me.

1. In Holbeck Town, when you enter the weapon shop, you can't leave it anymore. This is game breaking, please fix it soon!
It's of course possible to load an older save, but you still can't buy weapons..

2. Also Holback Town. In the church or temple, Ralph is standing again... If you talk to him, the game starts anew. You can say no to his question, but his picture remains, so you are kinda forced to start the game over.

3. For some reason I can't switch party members. If I do so, the next battle will crash the game and shut it down with some error. If I try to use Leona or Emlyn, this happens.
