Tutorial or information page

It is my personal opinion that the developer might get more milage out of the game if there was some in-game source of information, such as a page that reads 'click to add blocks, 3 blocks make a new block' and/or a spot where features such as the moving background toggle could be explained.
People are much more likely to stick with, and enjoy the game if such information is easier to find. Some people are more likely to simply rage-quit than go and look up information if they don't perceive that search and their game worth the time.

I did stick with the game and I do find the information useful, but simply put others might not.
I hope you understand this perspective and take it into consideration for future endeavors.

Some players say the game is confusing and others say the first 10-20 levels are easy. It's hard to find the right balance between the two. What I might do in a future update is expand the guided tutorial beyond the first level since the first several levels are supposed to be tutorial levels anyway.

I agree with you about the background toggle info, although with it disabled by default it's not really needed any more.

What do you mean it's hard to find the right balance? Just offer a half way decent tutorial and then make it optional. Jeez!

I wish it were that simple, but I've read enough reviews to know that players will skip optional tutorials while also writing reviews complaining about not knowing what to do.
