the mistake wasnt just or even adding the achievement. although seriously, taking away 100% of people that they have had for years is not fair.
it is a mistake to add another game demo to all your games. do you realize that people with limited internet are literally paying to download this demo? you are literally forcing people to download an ad for your game. not cool
did you want to advertise? great, you can spam us on the news. this is not very welcome, because if someone has all your games, they will receive x10 such messages, but at least there will be no harm.
however, its nice that you at least take the players opinions into account.
Once again, sorry for inconvenience.
So, Burning Skies Neon is not exactly a demo, the level is not even going to be in the final game, I took time to develop it exclusively for people who own my games. Since almost all of my games are short arcade experiences, I tought people would enjoy having another experience for free.
The reception's been mostly positive (after I removed the achievement wich was indeed a bad decicion in my part)
About the multiple games, most people do not own all my games, polygoneer for example was given for free on steam.
Thanks
